What it’s like to work here
Our office is located in Liberty Village, right next door to the perfect coffee shop, with lots of restaurants and tasty food options nearby. We aren’t in the office every day, but when we are, the whole team is usually in so we can collaborate. We share our offices with MEMInc, our sister company who produces several TV shows. Our team is a mix of relatively new team members and veterans who have been with the company from the beginning. We are growing fast and are looking to continually improve and drive results for the company and our partners. We share our wins and opportunities at a bi-weekly team meeting, and love to hear input and ideas from everyone at the table.
The Opportunity:
We have an opening for a Marketing & Business Development Associate, McGillivray Trusted Program who will work closely with the McGillivray Group team including various Real Estate Professional Partners. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing & Partnerships, the incumbent will work with both internal and external stakeholders to manage and execute a variety of branded partnership strategies and deliverables to meet or exceed Partners’ expectations while maximizing profitability.
Sales & Business Development
• Manage, support and grow the McGillivray Trusted Partnership Program
• Research and identify top performing real estate professionals from across North America
• Engage prospective clients on sales calls
• Maintain weekly research, outreach & call targets to real estate professionals
• Support the growth of the Trusted Program by adding new clients to the endorsement program
• Actively promote and sell add-on opportunities to existing clients, including content shoots & networking events
Client Relationship Management
• Ready and available as a point of contact for members of the Trusted Program
• Assist in the management of existing real estate professionals in the Trusted Professional Program
• Oversee related social media pages & engagement with Trusted Partners
Marketing/PR
• Assist marketing & PR efforts to support program where needed, including assisting with event planning, overall brand management, and participating in the creation and development of additional business opportunities and initiatives
Requirements
• Sales experience is a requirement
• A background in marketing, communications and/or real estate is considered an asset
• Strong sales, communication, organizational and presentation skills
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
• Strong computer/technology skills: Google Suite, Canva, Docusign, Easy Pay Direct & CRM (Hubspot)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to collaborate within a small team
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
• Ability to work extended hours, on occasion
